Joseph Gusek Obituary
Gusek, Joseph D. 64, of Rockford died on Saturday October 14, 2006, in his home. Born September 25, 1942, in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Irene Gusek. Lived here in Rockford for the past 3 years coming from Pell Lake, Wisconsin. Joseph was a truck driver for the Local #705 Teamsters and served in the U.S. Air Force, he was also a member of the Verdi Club. Survivors include his children Duane (Kim) Gusek, Franklin Park, IL, Christina Gusek, of Chicago, and Kathleen Smith of Florida, grandchildren Melissa, Matthew, Tiffany, Nicole, Tina, great-grandchildren Alicya and Elijah, brother James (Karen) Gusek, sisters Jaqueline (Frank) Mazurek, and Geraldine Brase, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, wife Mary Alice, brother-in-law Robert, and brother Sonny. Arrangements made by: Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
