Beloved husband of Elvera (nee Mazza), loving father of Joe (Jane) Gallo and Cathy (the late Carmen) Capizzi, cherished grandfather of Julian, Jasper, Simon and Lucy Gallo and Tasha Marie Capizzi, beloved great-grandfather of Luca, fond brother of Clare (the late Kenneth) Faretta and the late Bridget (the late Sam) Mandarino, the late Pasquale (the late June) Gallo and the late Nick (the late Sophie) Gallo, dear brother-in-law of Lucille (Sal) Mangialomini and the late Frank (Jacquelyn) Mazza, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 8:45 a.m. from Salerno's Rosedale Chapel, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle where visitation will be held Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. at Villa Scalabrini, 480 North Wolf Rd., Northlake, Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Villa Scalabrini appreciated. Anthony & Daniel Morizzo, Funeral Directors. 630-889-1700.

Dear Aunt Elevra and Family.
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of Uncle Joe. We had the great honor to visit Uncle Joe and You just before our trip of of town. Uncle Joe will always be remembered by us.
