Friedman, Joseph Joseph Friedman, beloved husband of the late Sarah nee Kaplan, devoted father of Sharon (Sheldon) Yusim and Martin (Phyllis) Friedman, proud grandfather of Vicki (Jeffrey) Hass, Andrea (Jeffrey) Meltzer, Nadine (Sam) Wengroff, Jonathan (Sascha) Friedman, Aaron Friedman. Cherished great grandfather of Matthew, Avi, Gabriella, Tamar, Max. Sarah, Joseph, Lea and Ari. Dear brother of the late Charles (the late Rae) Friedman and Louis (the late Ida) Friedman, fond brother in law of Milton (the late Bertha) Pochter, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Services Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah, 3220 Big Tree Lane, Wilmette. Interment Westlawn. Dear Sharon, Marty and Family,
Our sincere condolences on the loss of a real "gentle" man. Joe was a loving, quite man who will be remembered for his kindness and for his love for his beloved Sarah (may she rest in peace), and his beautiful family. He will be missed.

Our father, Richard Bresnik, was in the ICU room at Rush North Shore next to Mr. Friedman in March. We spoke to your family on many occasions. We are very sorry for your loss and we send you our deepest condolence. We wish you strength during this sad time.
