Freilich Family:
The memory that stands out the most for me is Uncle Joe's smile. He had such a wonderful round face, and the biggest, sweetest smile. His wonderful laugh went along with his beaming smile. He was so kind and so much fun....such a warm man. I will miss him. Please accept our love and condolences.

To our dad, Joe was the best friend he had in the whole world. As his doctor, Joe was the best doctor anyone could ever have. He kept dad alive and healthy against all odds. Dad knew it and loved Joe for it. We will all miss him.

Joe was the best - a loyal, loving, caring and terrific long-time family friend, and the best diagnostician for an internist we have ever seen, known of or ever will encounter. Simply the best in every way. He will be sorely missed. He is irreplaceble.

I remember Dr. Freilich well, as he and Shirley were our neighbors at 2912 Commonweath. Joe Freilich was as kind a man as could be found. Good neighbors are rare - and we were fortunate in Joe and Shirley.
Please accept my sympathy at this time. You will be remembered in my prayers.

Growing up I always looked upon my Uncle Joe as smart, fun and talented, which he was. He was also a wonderful father and husband. I have, and will continue to treasure the memories (Excelsior springs was always a highlight).

Dear Dr. Freilich & Family,
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I am hoping that you are the Dr. Freilich (OB/GYN) that I worked with at MacNeal/Bridgeview and who then transferred with your group to Loyola. If not, please forgive my intrusion, but accept my prayers just the same. I have fond memories of you, Dr. Freilich, and know that your father was a wonderful man because you are a wonderful son and a great doctor. The pleasure was mine, working with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

Deepest condolences from the Kligerman family.
As a long-time family friend, fellow student/colleague of my father, and as my personal physician, I will always remember Dr. Joe for his warmth, his common-sense approach to health care, and especially for his tremendous sense of humor. He will be missed.
