Joseph Dedic Obituary
Dedic, Joseph Norbert 72, of Aurora, passed away July 10, 2008, Veteran of the United States Air Force and the Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Grace (nee Burger), dear father of Darrell (Teresa), Tony, Teri (John) Herzog, Greg (Betty), Joe (Kim) and Phillip (Dorothy) Dedic. Fond brother of Art (Marie), Rich (Trudi), and Phil (Suzy) Dedic, dear grandfather of Eric, Christopher, John, Stephanie, Adam, Kari, Samantha, Rejean, Katie, Julia, Ryan, and Natalia, great-grandfather of Riley, loving companion of Dorothy Ann Myers. He loved golf, fishing, and was a master craftsman of woodworking. Memorial Mass at St. Irene's Catholic Church, 3 S 601 Warren Avenue in Warrenville, IL, on Friday, July 18, 2008, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hines VA Hospital Hospice in his name. Arrangements by: Cremation Society of Illinois, (800) 622-8358.

I offer my condolensces to your entire family. I remember your mother and father as they rented an apartment above the home I lived in with my parents in Chicago. The address was 3117 W 54th St. I believe it was around 1965 that they moved in. I cannot recall if any of you children were born yet. I remember your Mom's shockingly blonde hair and how sweet and pretty she was and her bg smile. Your dad always had a smile on his face. I remember him being tall and thin. It has been so many years I don't recall when they moved on but it was a joy to have them as tenants. I always will remember them. My deepest sympathy to the family. May he rest in peace.
