Dattilo, Joseph C. age 83, beloved husband of Ellen Louise (nee Dee), dear brother of the late James (Lillian), Edward (Johnsie), George (Iva), Charles and Mary (Angelo) Botticello, fond brother-in-law of Honora Dee and Mary Rita (John) Flynn, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday, 8:15 a.m., until time of funeral 9:15 a.m., at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Rd. (½ mile North of Saint Charles Rd.), Elmhurst. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m., at Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church, Western Springs. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside. Memorial contributions may be made to Lung Cancer Research, Rush Medical Center, Dr. L. Penfield Faber, 1725 W. Harrison St., Suite 218, Chicago, IL, 60612. Doctor Joe was my and my family's chiropractor from my early childhood for many years, and after that always a valued family friend. His visits were filled with joy, fun, and laughter. He was so good to us as children and so good to my parents as my mother suffered with cancer and died and my father aged. He was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all of us. Our condolences to you, his family.
