One of the best memories as a kid was visiting Sisters Lakes, Michigan with the Currys. Just recently I went back with my family to show them where I learned to water-ski off Joe's boat. Thank you for the good times. You will be missed!

Joe and I go back 60 years. We did much woodworking in my basement and ran American Flyer trains in his and my basement. We graduated in the same class in grammar school, high school, and college and worked together many years at IRS. We became CPA´s at the same time. Our daughter´s were good friends in high school and I remember Joe at father-daughter dance rolling on the floor at the song "twist and shout". I drove with Joe many times in the Chevy that Jim Sullivan speaks of. Rest in peace good my old friend, you will be missed!!! Bob Johnson

I would like to express my condolences to all of the Curry family.
Joe and I were friends and graduated together from St. Joseph's College in 1961. Both of us were car enthusiasts and we did some competitive rolling down some Indiana roads. Will never forget Joe's '52 Chevy with the big block Chevy engine w/ four on the floor. Joe was quite a driver.
We lost track of one another after graduation but did cross paths several times years later; once when Joe was doing an audit at my employer, Montgomery Ward, and again when he was with Sharon when he was on his boat going to his star dock at one of Chicago's harbors.
Some years back I somehow discovered that Joe was living in Marine City but was unable to make contact because of telephone number changes.
He was a good and fun guy to be with.
May he rest in peace.
