Yesterday, Joe D. was very missed, but absolutely present in the eyes and smiles and hearts of those who love him. It's true that St. Patrick's Day won't ever be the same, but they were always great because of him. How blessed we are to have known such an incredibly wonderful man.

Dear Lynn and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
We know what a wonderful husband and dad Joe has been and how much he will be missed! We, the family of Nora and Phil Gatto, have many fond memories of the wonderful times during the years in Bellwood, at St. Simeon's , and at Indian Lake with the Carrigan family. We know that our dear Lord, along with a host of angels, including our beloved mom and dad have welcomed him home! Love to you all and God be with you during this most difficult time.

Dad told us of Joe's passing. What a fun loving man, I will truly miss him.

To Lynn and family,
We were so saddened to hear about Joe, and will truly miss him. Although I only knew him this past year, during the Senator's campaign, I was always amazed by his energy, enthusiasm and friendly nature. We were so lucky to have him in our "camp" and are blessed to have known him.

Dear Lynn:
Our depest sympathy. We were saddened to hear of Joe's passing. We remember Joe fondly, as we lived in Bellwood for 25 years on Bellwood Avenue. We remember talking with you and Joe when you passed our home on the eay to St. Simeons. We were so glad when we heard that you had purchased this beautiful home.
Joe made living in Bellwood a pleasure. We have no doubt that he is now entertaining the angels in heaven.
