Aunt Babe, Janie and Family:
I still smile with memories of my grand Uncle Joe keeping friends and family members up at far later hours than our parents allowed, still waiting for the "mouse that ran up the clock" in your Glencoe living room! He gave us laughter, wit, wisdom, kindness and great moments, not to mention living lessons on how to stick to your principles, no matter what the risks entailed. He presented to me a bamboo fly rod 40 years ago, which I shall treasure even more now that he has passed on. His goodness, though, will live in our hearts forever. What a gift to have had him as a grand uncle!

Dear Eleaor and Daughters,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of your husband and father. Pat worked for Joe at Plasto Lamps. We have very fond memories of your family at the yearly Christmas parties at the Como Inn and other parties. We are still using the dining room set we bought from you during the 60's. We think of you often as we enjoy many dinners on the table that you had custom designed. Joe and his family always treated us as family and not as employees. He was a wonderful man. May your fond memories comfort you during this time of sorrow.
