Joseph Blackburn Obituary
Blackburn, Joseph A. age 69, late of Joliet, Monday, August 15, 2005. A United States Army Veteran. Employed at the Will County Court House as a court bailiff. Beloved husband of 46 years to Patricia (nee Alblinger); nine children, Joseph, Edward (Susan Hansen), Beth (Larry) Yakich, Peter (Rachel), Marty, Gabrielle (Rich) Zarnowski, Eileen (Jim) Weglarz, Matthew (Gina) and Patti (Joel) Geisz; 17 grandchildren; brother-in-law, Rich McHugh; sister-in-law, Rita Blackburn. Preceded by his parents, Burt and Mae (nee Tyrrell); three brothers and four sisters. Funeral services Friday, August 19, 2005, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet where eulogies and prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Procession will follow to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Private interment.
