Dear Marie,
We first met your brother in 1968 when he was the best man at Roman and Grazina Kaunas' wedding (my husband was an usher). We had the pleasure over the years, of Joe's company - most recently at the Kaunas' daughter's wedding on the last day of August. Grazina tells me that when Roman recently suffered a stroke, Joe was there to comfort (and feed) them. Joe will be remembered with great affection.

Dear Marie,
We were so sorry to read of your brother's sudden death. I have thought of you often and was hoping we could get together again sometime soon.
Please accept our deepest sympathy!

Dear Marie,
So sorry to hear about Joe..please accept my sincere sympaty. I feel bad that I couldn't attend the wake but I now live in Plainfield and just had eye surgery and can't drive that far yet because my vision is still too poor. Last time I saw Joe was at Mrs. O'Brien's wake and we spent a lot of time visiting and reminiscing about old times. Take care and, again, please accept my deepest sympaty. Millie (Rusina)Sopcak

Dear Marie,
I don't know if you remember Dave and I. We lived in the house off the alley next door to Sue Racina. We just wanted to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We stopped a few times after we moved to see Joe but he was not at home. I can't express how deeply sorry we are that we never seen him again. We loved him very much.
