Arbus, Joseph beloved husband for 54 years of Jackie (nee Seltzer); devoted father of Lee (Sheree), Arona (Robert) Boron, Ira (Elaine) and Mark (Jodi); adoring and proud grandfather and Papa of Randi, Michael, Jordan, Brad, Courtenay, Brian, David, Sarai, Jared and Amy. Graveside service Thursday, 2 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Attn: Development Dept., 345 E. Superior, Chicago, IL, 60611. It was obvious how gratified you father was when seeing your family. His passing leaves a sadness that is surpassed only by the love you shared over the years. Lonny and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of Joey. What a truly nice man he was. Our condolences to all of you. He was such a happy and wonderful man and always had a big smile on his face to match the warmth in his heart. He will live on in the memories of all who knew him. It seems like yesterday that we arrived at Uncle Arn's co-op and the whole family was on the porch having a piece of sponge cake. I remember Joey being so tickled at how much I was thoroughly enjoying my piece. That was 40 years ago and Joey's smile and gentle way have always stayed with me. Just a fond memory I wanted to share.
