Mr. Abbate, you were one of a kind. You were an exemplary man and anyone who had the honor to know you would share the same sentiments. You were a loving husband and father and a cherished friend to all. I am glad I have those 4th of July videos saved with you yelling in excitement at the boys blowing off fireworks. You were a big kid at heart that reminded us all that youth isn't always spent on the young. You put a smile on everyone's face and would do anything to go the extra mile for someone. I am both shocked and saddened by your death as the world just got a little darker without the light of your shining spirit. Thank you for the memories and good times. You will always be fondly remembered and never forgotten. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. My deepest condolences to your family, may God guide and give them the solace to get through this unimaginable time. I know you are now their guardian angel looking down upon them. You all will remain in my thoughts and prayers as they go forth with your legacy. "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
