Jon Wheeler Obituary

Dear Mr. Wheeler, Mark, Kyle and David,

I recently heard from my mother that Jon had passed away. I am deeply saddened by this news. Although we have not been in contact much these past 34 years, I will always remember him as the boy my age across the street from us on Michigan Ave. It seems hardly possible that this could have happened. I understand that Jon had a wife and children. To Jon's family and your good selves I would like to pass on my regards and deepest sympathy at this time.

Donna,
I am in great dispear over your terrible loss. While I did not know Jon very well, throughout the times we spent together I was able to experience laughter along with his compassionate heart. You and Jon have been family to me throughout the years and at this time I give my condolences to you and your family. You are in my thoughts always.

Dear Wheeler Family,
Jon was in one of my freshman algebra classes at Thornton High School. He was one of the students who stood out in my memory. He was intelligent, funny, and a very nice person. I am so sorry for the loss you are experiencing and the difficult times you have ahead of you. I hope good memories, of which I am sure there are many, will sustain you through the challenges that lie ahead. My thoughts and prayers and deepest sympathies are with you. Remember that his life has touched many of us and that part of him will always be in our hearts.

My complete condolences goes out to the entire family. Growing up with Jon was always a laugh. I remember cheering for him when he stood out while playing for Thornton's basketball team. His sense of humor will be sorely missed. Donna and sons, may the days ahead bring some sort of relief knowing that Jon is in a better place now. Time will heal all wounds. My prayers go out to all of you.

Dear Donna, Owen, Ethan and family,
On behalf of the Loiacono family, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy at your unimaginable loss. It is with great sadness that I write you as I remember the true warmth and genuine friendship that Jon always made me feel. Although he always knew how to make me laugh, I also found Jon a devoted listener during some of my difficult moments. I feel blessed that during our last conversation, I felt the need to take a moment to express my heartfelt warmth to him for his truly unique friendship. I feel a special bond with Jon that I am sure is understood by many that he touched. Your family will continue to be in our prayers and Jon will always be in our hearts and memories.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I am stunned by the past month's events. It is unfathomable and my heart goes out to you and your children. I know that, at this time, there is no comfort in saying Jon did not suffer. While that is good, you barely had time to adjust to all that happened in a mere 30 days. I hope you take time for yourself, grieve, regroup and move on when you are ready. You have many friends. Let them assist you!
