I attended H.S with John and I would see him occasionally. John always had a kind word and a great sense of humor. I just learned of his passing and I will miss him tremendously. Prayers to his family, rest in peace my friend!

We had a lot of great memory's together that still bring a smile to my face and yes the electric industry is a little dimmer without him around

It seems like yesterday you and Ron were just kids playing in the basement and your dad was coming over to pick you up. Gigi and All, I'm shocked to read John's notice this morning and so sorry for the grief that's come upon all of you. All I can offer you are my prayers as you mourn his ending here, along with a reminder of our faith and hope that he's with his Dad and brother in the next world that Our Lord promises in the gospels. May John know God's presence and perfect peace now.

I am in such shock and so saddened to hear about John. I have never met such a fun-loving, warm-hearted and caring individual. I have been in the lighting industry with John for over 10 years. He taught me much of what I know in my younger years. There are no words to put how much he will truly be missed. If I could only talk to him one more time!! I was devastated to hear about John yesterday. His smile, sense of humor and words of spiritual wisdom were always appreciated when we worked together at Active Electric. The lighting industry will be that much dimmer without John's spirit and bright smile. My most sincere condolences to the Volland family and John's friends during this difficult time.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. I worked with John for many years at Paramont, where he became a trusted and much loved friend. May you all find comfort in beautiful memories and the warm embrace of family and friends.

I'm trying to absorb this tragic news. Currently holding back the tears. John was a good friend and co-worker. I had the honor of working side by side with him for several years and have fond memories of him. Outside of work he was a fun loving person and always made me laugh, not a day went by when he didn't talk of the love of his life, Zach. He will be truly missed by many.
