Vincenzo, John 96, of Elmhurst, beloved husband of the late Margaret M. (nee Conzo), father of the late Camille (Mike Joseph) Pirozzoli and the late Michael (the late Ruth), grandfather of Michael and John Vincenzo and Michael Dean Pirozzoli and the late Karen Lynn Pirozzoli, brother of Angela Punicki and the late Lillian Guccione, Rose Ferruccio and Nick Vincenzo, uncle of Gina Pilcher and Linda (Tom) DeMunn and all the wonderful nieces and nephews. He liked to refer to himself as "Floor Doctor" at the University of Illinois and better known as "John the Baker". Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhusrt, from 3 to 9 p.m., Thursday. Service 10 a.m., Friday, April 9th. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Info: 630-834-3515.

Uncle John, Johnny or Johann as I used to affectionately call him never kept a sad face for too long, his bright outlook on life and work (got up at 5:30am)were inspirational. He was one of this world's best!!

We will miss our dear friend John and his smiling face. When ever John stopped by he would always bring us his wonderful cakes and cookies. John was truly a good-hearted person. WE LOVE YOU JOHN !!!
