John Tillson Obituary

Tillson, John "Jack" Bruce Age 84, originally from Chicago and longtime resident of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on September 22, 2012, in Houston, Texas. Survived by his beloved wife, Betty (Scholz) Tillson; Father to Jan (Bill) Coppock, Thomas (Lynn) Tillson, Marybeth (the late Joe) Hutsell, Timothy (Barb) Tillson, Colleen (Pat) Duncan, Terry Starbuck; Sixteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Anne Tillson from West Chicago, IL; his son, Bob (Kathy) Moore of Hanford, CA and his sister, Marilyn Hooper of Jackson, MI. Retired Produce Buyer of A & P Food Stores in Chicago, avid fisherman and hunter. Memorial services will be held on October 3rd at 4:30pm at Grace Fellowship UMC, 2655 South Mason Road, Katy, TX 77450. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of the sender's choice.
