Dear John,

I know of your greatness from your son, Jyotirmaya. I understand you were very honorable and fortunate in life. You were one of our countries heros in the Battle of the Bulge. Therefore you are in a fortunate position now in the hands of the Lord. Our guru, Swami Prabhupada, said that all of the parents of the Hare Krsna devotees were very fortunate. So you are getting blessings from your own good deeds and from the spiritual activities of Jyotirmaya, your Hare Krsna devotee son.

I am not sad about your departure because I know you are in a better place and are a happy soul on your spiritual journey back home, back to Godhead.

Love and blessings unto you.

another well-wisher,

Gauridas Pandita Dasa & Family

Dad - I lived with you for the past 8 years and it's hard not seeing you in the morning anymore. But you were so inconvenienced by your old body. It would be selfish to want you to be here if you were sick. God is taking care of you now so you are in the best of hands. We love you and thank you for all you have done for your family and others. God bless. Hare Krishna.
