Mr. Taglieri (Jack) took a group of neighborhood girls to see our first Cubs game at Wrigley Field. It could have been 1969, the year the Cubs broke every heart in Chicago. Wrigley was so packed we girls sat on the stairs in the aisle, Mrs. Taglieri (Frances) sat in the one open seat we found, and Mr. Taglieri rode heard on all of us. He was a brave man.
