John Stone Obituary

Stone, John C. 76, of Northfield, June 11, 2005, beloved husband for 53 years of Nancy (nee Hempel), loving father of Jay, Lori (Dean Polales), Jim and Lynn Stone, cherished grandfather of Caroline and Jack, dear brother of the late Barbara Kaufman. Mr. Stone was a Veteran in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Vice-President of Custom Enclosures and was also a national SK-BOAT Champion. Visitation Tuesday, 4 to 8 p.m. at N.H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview (2 blks. South of Lake Ave. on West side). Service and interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Misercordia Home, 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL 60660-1099. Funeral info 847-998-1020
