We are very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed visiting with John these past 11 years as we would sit in the garage, have a High Life Light and talk. He was a very good neighbor. We will miss him. Rest in peace brother.

Hello Stanton Family!
Each of you are a beautiful reflection of your parents- they were so proud of all of you!! Your Dad was a pillar of a man! He honorably served his country and the Veteran Community. I always remember him laughing. There was always so much love & fun in the Stanton home. He is now hugging your Mom. My heart aches for you and my prayers are sent. Peace be with you. My dear Uncle John I will always remember the love and support you have given to my family. You were not only my Dads brother but his best friend. I have so many great memories of our times together. You always had a joke to tell or a song to sing. After my Dad passed away, you made sure my brothers and Mom were taken care of, For that I will be forever grateful. I pray you are at peace and find comfort in joining Aunt Mary Lou and all your family and friends in Heaven. To all of my Uncle John’s, thank you for sharing your parents with all of us. To my godfather and long time mentor Uncle John: My memories of you are many and heartfelt. One of which is your introducing us all to rabbit and pheasant hunting at early ages. To this day I am still a very avid hunter because of you. You always seemed larger then life. It's hard to believe that you are gone. Your legacy will live far beyond your mortal existence. The number of lives you have had a positive effect on is endless. You have left an indelible mark on all of us.

My prayers are with all of you. I will miss Uncle John’s hilarious jokes and beautiful smile.

Great Uncle John was an incredible man. I’ll always remember looking forward to the 4th of July parties that he and Aunt Mary Lou held every summer. My grandma Marie, loved him dearly. While I lived with her for a year after college, I learned a lot about their time as children and raising their families together. Hopefully it was a beautiful reunion on Saturday for him to be able to reunite with all of the loved ones who went before him. Thinking of the entire Stanton family as you mourn his loss.

Uncle John, you were my hero. A cross between Uncle and Older Brother.
I loved spending time with you and will cherish my memories with you forever.

So sorry to hear about the passing of John. He and my father were very good friends back in the day. I remember John from that time and he was a good man. He will always be remembered.
