May guardian angels o'er him vigil keep,
While he lies resting in eternal sleep.
Ed, Kristen, Dan, Tricia, Tom and families, you are all in my thoughts and prayers today and always. Your dad was a very lovely man and he and your mom raised some pretty awesome people! May he rest in peace. God Bless.

Dear Roudebush Family,
I would like extend my deepest condolences on the loss of John.I met him at Engine 23's quarters,when i was just 15, back in 1975. He was a great guy and I was glad to call Him friend. When I started at De LaSalle he always joked about how the brothers would keep us in line!
We will keep the entire family in our thoughts and prayers!

Dad, I wish I knew that Saturday (Halloween)was to be our last ride out to Indiana to look at the colors of the trees or our last time we'd hang out together, I would of chosen my words differently.I shall miss our Friday night pizza nights, and just you always being there for all of us.You were an awesome Dad and I hope that you will check in on us from time to time to make sure we are ok. Tell everyone hello for us, "especially Mom" that we still love and miss her/them all. We,"your children" are now the leaders of the Roudebush family, You and Mom have taught us well I hope we make you guys proud!Till we meet again Dad I, we all love you and shall miss you, "WHO LOVES YOU BABY" ;)
