What a guy! Mr. Resch was always upbeat and positive in life, with a kind word for everyone. His heart was as big as the ocean and was always there when people needed him. I enjoyed the banter between my father and Mr. Resch, always in good fun of course.
God Bless Mr. Resch and his family! We will miss him.

Mrs. Resch, Johnny, Dave, Jim, and Bill...Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your husband and father. "Mr. Resch" (as I'll fondly remember him as) was a great friend and mentor to me. He was also a great man and citizen. I very much enjoyed spending time with him during my years in Chicago. Thinking of those times brings back good memories for me. I'm glad I got to know him so well, and I'll miss him. Sincerely. Steve and Patrice Marotta

Dear Mickey and family...John's love of his family, his collection and interest in the railroad, his dedication to helping Misericordia stand out in my memories. I think of my late husband Tom and John and how they bantered with one another. Whenever I see or hear the toot of a train I will remember John. Every time I look at the musical figurine on my refrigerator that Tom received from John I will say a prayer for John and all the Resch family. My family and I are sorry for your loss and your many friends will miss him. Sincerely,
