Mrs O'Malley and family ~
I was very sorry to hear the news that your dear husband had passed from this life. I have fond memories of growing up in Edgebrook and seeing you and Mr O'Malley and Brian. Both of you were dear friends of my parents Dan and Fran Lynch and to my in-laws, Jim and Therese Nicholl. I will never forget your husband coming to our dining room to welcome my Dad to the CFD of City Hall. Most especially I was very touched seeing your husband kneel next to my mother-in-law in one of her worst moments - the night of Jim's wake. Jack held her hands and told her beautiful stories that she needed to hear. What a man he was !! I hope you are now surrounded with the same comfort !!! I prayed for you and your family today. May you find comfort in his many great memories.

My family grew up across the street from the O'Malley's in Elmhurst. A few of us visited a few years back. Jack still had that big smile and thunderous laugh and of course- that cigar! What a wonderful family he and Loretta raised. My thoughts are with you.
