Nikitas, John Age 83; beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Georgis); loving father of Pat (Bill) Markos, Nick (Maria), and Maggie Nikitas; proud grandfather of Evangelia, John (Alicia), John, and Irene; cherished great-grandfather of Andreas; dear brother-in-law of Mary (Peter) Panagakos, the late George Georgis, and the late Alex (Seva) Georgis; fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. He was the founder and president of the Karpathian Society of Chicago. Visitation Friday, August 18th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 1104 Waukegan Rd., Glenview.
