I'm Denise's Dad and only met John last Christmas at her house when we had a family get-together. We had a nice talk and enjoyed ourselves that day. I was very shocked to hear of his untimely passing and wish to extend our sincere condolences to the McGrath Family on this sad occasion.

My sympathies to Polly, Joan and Alan in your loss. For the better part of my life John was like a brother to me, and his loss is felt heavily. I regret that I haven't seen him in some time, but my memories of our times together will remain forever. I'll forever remember John's easy going nature and the loyalty he had for his friends. John, there is little doubt that this world will miss him, I know I will. I would say to myself often, "geez, I need to give John a call; get together"... yet 1001 things happen and the call isn't made. I'll never make that mistake again because I wouldn't want to miss out on seeing someone who is very special to me.
