McGeehan, John J., Sr. Age 81, U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Patricia E. (nee Murphy). Loving father of Maureen (Tom) Cetera, Kathleen (Tim C.F.D.) Bailey, John, Jr. (Mary Pat) and Michael (Jean) McGeehan. Dear "Papa" of Matthew, Mary Kate, Mick, Peg, Bridget, Rosemary, Elizabeth, Jack and Joe. Devoted brother of Mary Therese (Larry) Jensen and brother-in-law of Marguerite (the late Thomas) Altenbach. Proud alumnus of Leo H.S. Class of 1948 and devoted worshiper at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel. Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm. Funeral Thursday 11am from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home (Heeney-Laughlin Directors) 2929 W. 87th Street Evergreen Park to Queen of Martyrs Church Mass 11:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. I just heard about Jack's passing and am sending you all my prayers. Jack was a great guy, happy,fun loving and always helpful,and always joking around. He will be missed. In case you are wondering who I am, I worked with Jack for many,many years at Stewart Smith.
