McDevitt, John Patrick Born July 24, 1958 passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 10, 2012. Loving father of John McDevitt; brother of Anne (Glen) Howell, Mary Rogers, Patrick (Donna) McDevitt, Margaret (Mark) Ponga, George (Renee) McDevitt; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Ella McDevitt. John was an U.S. Air Force veteran. Funeral on Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Kenny Brothers Funeral Directors 3600 W. 95th Street Evergreen Park. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation on Monday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information call 708-425-4500.

My sincere condolences to John's Family. John was my best friend while we were in the USAF. We stayed friends and kept in contact over the years. We had many great times together while stationed in Montana and when I came to visit him. I will miss my friend deeply, RIP John.
