Jack was born and raised in Roseland, IL and served proudly in WWII in the U.S. Army. He shared his life between Illinois and Florida. I didn't know you well, but I know that your children, Mike, Julie and Laura absolutely adored you. They said you were the best father and the greatest man, so kind and endearing to all. You will be missed by your three children and all.

When I mentioned in conversation that I was the daughter-in-law of Dick Cortopassi, at the wedding of Jack's granddaughter Marci, he went on and on about his younger years in Chicago's Roseland community and Ken and Dick's Pizza and bar. Those were the good old days! I hope he's up in Heaven right now having a beer with Ken and Dick!
