Fran, Barb and Mary,
Truly saddened by your loss. Uncle John and Aunt Fran were always a delight and treat for us when they came down south to visit. Please know that my dad (Uncle Mike) considered Uncle John as a role model and was proud of your dad's many accomplishments in life. He will be one of the first in line to greet Uncle John. I will remember his smile and mischievious ways with my kids. My prayers are with you and your families.

Fran, Barb, and Mary,
After hearing the news of your father's passing I realized I had lost another elder of the Village that I grew up in and the last best friend of my parents. It is true that it takes a Village to raise a child and this child was so blessed to have your mom and dad as part of my life. God speed John as you are reunited with your new village as they happily await you!

My dear God Father John, you and Fran were like second parents to the McGowan family. John you taught me the true meaning of being a God Father, for you were always there to talk to me and treated me like your own son.Thank you for the lessons learned. you will always hold a place in my heart and I thank you for that. Gods speed and give Fran a kiss for me. Love you
