Jack was a Great Guy!! True Gentleman. Loved to talk about what book he was reading, golfing, all the restaurants he ate at, investing and so much more. Jack was a regular at The Skokie Court House and was provided a "Front row seat" to the criminal system. I will miss You and our lunches on the patio at Hackney's.

It was a very short time, a few months, but i did have the gift of meeting Jack before he past. Something, attracted me towards him. I could feel his goodness, understood his journey. I understood how wonderful it would have been, just to have known him longer. I reached out to him, and he responded. He understood. I did all I could to try to embrace Jack. But, it was a difficult time for him. I still thought always about the guy that lived below me. Bought a set of new clubs but Covid has got me down. Like many, i have lost my drive..Meanwhile!....Anyway, who knows, maybe later he will seek me out and we can walk down a fairway together. To the man, I hardly knew, and knew so well, rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was a very special and wonderful man. While my husband knew him as a long time guest at Wildfire, I only met him later. We bonded over our love of photography and he was beyond generous in loaning his gear - always saying "you will love this - try it!" And he was always right. His enthusiasm and excitement for helping people shone through. Our son was an athlete at NU and so Jack's stories from his time there always made us smile. He made me smile. It was an honor to know him, even for such a short time. May your memories be filled with his smiles and laughter.
