Marcisz, John M. 79, of Gladstone Park, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and Purple Heart recipient. Beloved husband for 50 years to Leta (nee Schauer), loving father of Margaret "Peggy" (Gregory) Loosa, Maureen Marcisz and the late Mary Anne Marcisz, proud grandfather of Jennifer (Darryl Elliott) Wells, Nicholas Wells, Ashley Loosa, Brittany Loosa and Brianne Marcisz, dear step-grandfather of Tina and Tanya Loosa, great-grandfather of Rileigh and Ethan Elliott, fond brother of Sally Nahorniak and Mary (Bill) Lucht, many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, from 3 until 9 p.m., at The M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Funeral Monday, 10 a.m. Prayers at the funeral home to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
