John Lipovsky Obituary

John J. Lipovsky
John J. Nanny Lipovsky, 80, of Allentown, died on Monday, January 29, 2007 in his home. His wife, June Rose Dolly (Heiserman) Lipovsky, died on September 30, 2006. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John A. and Mary (Rossowski) Lipovsky. He was an assembler for Mack Trucks Inc. for 16 years retiring in 1988. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. He was a lifetime member of the St. Francis Beneficial Society. Survivors: Stepson, Robert G. Lick Sr. and his wife, Aldine, of Allentown; sister, Dorothy Chlebove; brothers, Robert and David Lipovsky; grandchildren, Robert G. Jr. and Christopher Lick. Services: memorial, 10 a.m. Saturday, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert Kozel officiating. Call 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment in St. John Baptist Slovak Church Cemetery. Contributions: Alzheimers Association, 617A Main Street, Hellertown PA 18055 or Heartland Hospice Services, 1227 W. Liberty Street, Allentown PA 18104.
