I am truly sorry for your loss. I know we at Palos were all rooting for a better outcome, however, despite our best medicine and our best efforts, God wanted him home.
I am sorry I was unable to attend services as I was on vacation.
My deepest sympathy,

To the Limparis family, I am saddened to hear that John is no longer here with us in the flesh…but his spirit will be with all those that he had touched in life until it is our time to meet once again.
The Alsip Nursery holds many wonderful memories for me, from the potting shed to tossing freshly potted roses into the bins…to unloading flats of flowers at the crack of dawn…to healing in burlap balled evergreens as they were thrown from the truck. During all this activity it was the young guys that grew tired just trying to just keep pace with John.
John impacted my life greatly as I’m sure he did with the many that passed through the blue fertilized aisles of the Nursery. He instilled a work ethic in those that could stick with it, and my guess that remains with them today. He has given me many memories and stories to share and I will always cherish that part of my life and I know I am a better person for knowing John. God Bless.

Our familys' sympathy to yours at this time of personal loss. John had been a friend to our family for many years since my first day of work at the Alsip Nursery in 1973. He always had a quick wit, and a great smile. He will be missed by the many people who's lives' he's touched!
