I didn't know this was here. John, you were a very influential and huge part of my life. Not a day goes by that I don't tell "John" stories, there are many. My kids only met you a couple times and because you made such an impression even they tell John stories. I really appreciate all of the times you reached out to the girls just to say hi or be a nosey distant "parent". We love you so much and your memory will forever be in our hearts. Until we meet again, love you <3

Dear John,
I am deeply saddened I didn't get my message of thanks to you in time. Just simple thanks for being you and for always going out of your way to make me feel special. You were a remarkable human being. Years have passed since I've seen you but I still carry that soft spot in my heart for you. I'll never forget you, John. Rest in peace, my friend. Love, Audra ((hugs))

I just now heard this news and I am stunned. I knew that each additional day Join had on this Earth was a gift and I was blessed to have known him, but crushed that I wasn't able to say a proper goodbye. Even though nearly two months have passed, please know that John and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. While we weren't truly related, I have always considered him my cousin because of his years with David. Rest in Peace, John. And to his family, my condolences.

We can't have old days back
When we were all together.
But secret tears and loving thoughts
Will be with us forever.
