Huizinga, John R. 84, of Oak Park. Beloved husband of Jean, nee Dorn. Loving father of Rev. John (Sandra), James, Dorothy (Frank) Lardino, Jennifer (Dave) Lechelt, and Ellen Huizinga. Devoted grandfather of 10. Fond brother of Alvina (the late Mel) Van Denend, Andy (Eva) Huizinga, Jackie (Hank) Speelman. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 2-8 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd (3 blks S of Roosevelt) Lombard. Funeral Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
