Dear Mrs Howard,
I had the pleasure of meeting Jack just once. He was a good person and a great member of the Leo family. Your family is in my prayers.

im always saddened by the death of a leo alum. in this case, one of the most loyal and dedicated among leo men! i never met jack howard but saw him at alum events and of course routinely read the address fromthe president in the alumnae updates. james guimond leo 72

Joan: Just heard about Jack's passing from another Leo man. Jack was truly Leo man of our generation and will be greatly missed by all. I shared many classes at Leo with Jack and even then he was always the person to go to if you needed anything whether school related or other. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I just learned of Jack's passing via the Leo Alumni Association decal letter. My deepest sympathy to the family, we've all lost a great person, and a true Leo man.

I just learned about Jack today He was a great person and a wonderful friend The Leo Alumni Assoc would not be what it is today but for Jacks efforts

We lost a dear one in Jack. I can only remember the many times that he thrilled us with his Irish Tenor voice and his profound delivery of Irish tunes. He was what Notre Dame is all about-- love and prayers. I know you will miss him as will we all. Hogan lost his best buddy as did we all. My sympathy to you on the loss of Jack. Iknew him from grade school through Notre Dame and from Tootie and Chesters tailgates. There was no one better. Leo High School has lost a great benefactor in Jack
