Harty Sr., John P. "Jack" Retired CPD, veteran US Army, beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Zimmerman), treasured son of the late James and Margaret, devoted father of Linda Harty, Kathleen (Jack) Grzelak, Lorraine (Tom) Margelewski, Colleen (Dave) Seward, Jacklyn (Bob) Westland, John P. Harty Jr., Mary Madormo and the late William, loving papa of Jacki Boehne, Laura Stace, Julie Grzelak, Jamie Grzelak, Susan Herbst, Amy Margelewski, John Margelewski, Bobby Westland, Jennifer Westland, John P. Harty III, Geoff Harty, Tim Madormo, Kayleigh Madormo, and great grandchildren Jack and Grace Herbst, brother of Catherine Bourbon and seven other siblings brother-in-law of Margie Harty, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave. to Immaculate Conception Church. Mass 10 a.m, Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Monday and Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. 773-774-4100

I would just like to express my sincere sympathy to the whole family. I was in the Navy Reserves with John Jr. and when I saw the notice in trhe Times I just had to try to get in touch to express my wishes that OUR HEART AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO YOU ALL.
