Hanrahan, John Francis "Hurricane", age 70, U.S. Army Veteran, of Burbank, IL. Beloved husband of 44 years to Judy (nee Barga), loving father of Maureen (Robert) Heidegger, and Cheryl (Erik) Johnson, proud grandfather of Sarah and Robbie Heidegger, Asher and Lila Johnson, devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 9 a.m., form Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Road (5500 W) Burbank, IL, 60459, to St. Albert the Great Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Member of the American Legion. Longtime member of Carpenter's Union Local 1185, and a retired 44 year employee of Marshall Fields. Judy, Maureen and Cheryl,
I am sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember John always had a smile on his face and seemed as though he truly enjoyed life. He was certainly a great father because Maureen and Cheryl both turned out to be great people and good parents themselves. Growing up down the street, I know he was a wonderful member of the community, a hard worker and a good, decent person. Losing a loved one is very difficult. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Enjoy all of the memories you have and God Bless.
