John Hamilton Obituary

Hamilton, John "Jack/Hammy" E. age 57, late of Crete and formerly of Riverdale, passed away on July 24, 2006, beloved husband of Cindy (nee Ames), loving father of Kimberly (Timothy) Growden, dear grandfather of Timmy and Allison, cherished son of Ann (the late Alfred) Hamilton, fond brother of David (Wendy) Hamilton, uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m., at Drumm Funeral Home, 1200 E. 162nd St. (1 blk. W. of I-94 on U.S. Hwy. 6/159th St.), in South Holland. Funeral service Friday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105-9956. For futher information: 708-333-0011.

Cindy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hammy was the life of any party I attneded at Jan and John's. His St.Patrick's outfits were always the hit! He will be greatly missed. I have asked one of the Jesuits to offer a Mass for Hammy. My sympathy, Anita
