I was glad to know and work with John (Mr. Fox to me) in the 80s while I attended law school. A warm person and kind spirit. He is missed.
John T. Doyle, Jr.
January 8, 2002
John was a prince among men. John always made a significant impact on the lives of the people around him, first as an excellent lawyer, and as a leader of various organizations long after he retired. He was always the first to welcome a new member to Serra International's Downtown Chicago Club, an organization fostering religious vocations. John was always the first to volunteer to help others who needed it. John's advice and counsel to the younger lawyers who knew him over the years will always be treasured. John's enthusiasm, warmth, goodwill, humor, and zest for life will always live on in the people whose lives he touched. We will miss you.
