This is a memory from the past:
John and Patrick were our dentists when our young family lived in Rosemoor, part of Greater Roseland, and their mother ran the office, which we could walk to from our house. We even followed them when they moved to South Holland, traveling via the South Suburban bus service.

One of them got further education to become an Orthodontist while the other "held down the fort". We stopped going to them when we moved away and no longer had access to that bus service.

They were only six years older than my husband and I, and it was great to have dentists of our own generation. We enjoyed the family atmosphere in the office, and John and Patrick were the first dentists for all five of our children. I remember both of them fondly.

Dr.John and Dr. Pat were my dentists in Rosemoor. Their mother was their receptionist and they liked to call her Frank. They had a great sense of humor. It is hard to think of one without the other. Rest In Peace.

A few added memories: When my husband and I took John and Pat to "The Honor Flight, Chicago", how proud he was to be there with his brother, to visit the War Memorials in Washington, DC, shared lots of stories of Europe and their training, as well as World War Two. It was a long day, and after returning to the airport in Chicago, we celebrated, again, with a Mini-Parade as everyone disembarked from the aircraft into the terminal! That grin on his face was priceless, revealing the warmth in his heart! A bit later we took John and Pat into Indiana to board WWll aircraft parked on display on the runways...more stories! Couldn't resist recounting this memory also! God bless and keep you in His loving care as you join all your loved ones in Heaven! Again YOU, will be missed!

John was a very kind and gentle man, a man of great faith, soft spoken and always willing to accept a hug! He so loved his little white dog Sparky and missed him terrible when he went on to Doggie Heaven! He always asked me when when we could bring our Dog, Pearl over for a "Lick Fest", she too was a white furry pup...always wanted another dog, he so missed Sparky! He had a laugh that would warm your heart...will miss him! No one like him, a good neighbor...
