It has been my great honor to visit Uncle Jack and Aunt Felicia in recent years with my good friend Bob Colby.
We shared a beer and some laughs and memories with them in their Arizona home.
Jack clearly loved his wife and extended family, and enjoyed sharing memories of the good old days on the south side. It sounds like their swimming pool was a gathering point for the Colbys.
To the entire Colby family, I am sorry for your loss.
He was one hell of a man!!!

I have many fond memories of Uncle Jack, and will miss him immensely. To Aunt Felicia and the kids, I am so sorry for your loss. He will be deeply missed by so many.
Leave the regrets and "I should haves" behind you. Concentrate on the happy times you had with him. It's those good memories that will help carry you through this difficult time.
Peace and love to you all,
Bob

Debbie,Lori,Sue and myself were all here with mom to spend dads last few days together. You think that you can prepare for the inevitable, but not really. It was still very hard to let him go.I know I am selfish to wish that he was still here, but he was in so much pain,it was a relief when we got up that morning to see him sitting on his favorite couch finally in peace.I couldn't have asked for a better dad.I will always miss you.John
