Dear John, Gunnar and Tara. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I wanted to let you know that you were all the apple of your father's eye, he always spoke very highly of you and loved you all very much. Now I can see why - you've shown nothing but strength and love during this time - you are the Incredible children he always talked about. And he, an incredigle man. I will miss your father dearly. He will live in my heart forever. Love, Suzette

Dad,

Our time spent together was cut way too short. We had met under tense conditions, finding out your only daughter was pregnant by a man you had never met. By all means, you should have jumped across the table and gave me a beating. But you didn't. Instead, you showed your warm side, your tender and compassionate side. You accepted me as one of your own sons, your own flesh and blood. Each and every time we got together, we grew together more and more. I'll never forget those few mornings that you came over to our apartment, atleast 3 or more hours early and uxexpected, just to spend time with Tara and I. Or the beautiful Father's Day we all spent at Millenium Park, or walking through Septemberfest talking about and looking at art and going on rides together.

While there is a sense of relief that you are in a good place and are no longer suffering, I am truly devastated and missing you greatly. I am honored that we were able to open our home to you in your last days spent with us here. It was a gift for us all, that we could share our love for one another before time was up.

I'll never forget you, ever. I'll always cherish those memories we made together. I'll always think back and remember how proud you were of me at my college graduation, you were just as proud of me as my own parents. You were pumping your fist in the air with pride for me. It made me just as proud. Your laugh, smile, stories, and gestures are as unforgettable as you.

I truly love you as a father to me, and a father to Tara, Gunnar, John, and Skyler.

Missing you with much love,

Jason
