John Cacioppo Obituary

I had the extreme pleasure of working with John and his wonderful family during several of his hospitalizations and surgeries. He was a fine example of an individual that does not give up; he also never complained. John's family was one of the most supportive I have ever seen during my 5 years of practice and was further emphasized what a wonderful group they were in the appreciative way John spoke of them. My condolescences to John's family.

Talking with an old friend recently and catching up on old classmates, I was shocked to learn that John was sick and then I heard that he had passed. I remember him from Holy Rosary! My deepest condolences to the Cacioppo Family. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Having the pleasure of spending time with the Cacioppo family, I cannot stop thinking of their pain and suffering. Their family dedication shown toward one another is unsurpassed and most admirable. A true example to all. Years have passed and for all of us priviledged to be John's friend, we will always remember his kindness to all, sense of humour and how he lit up a room when he walked in with that million dollar smile. Johnnies enjoyable memory will live on in my heart. RoseAnn, John, Elisa, Cindy, Johnnie, Gina and all other family members, my thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you.

I am John's nephew Frankie (Frank and Lisas son) I just want to thank all of you for your support, and great comments about my uncle. He is in peace now and although we are going to miss him to much, he isn't suffering any longer.

My family and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Cacioppo family. Please know that you will remain in our thoughts and prayers. The beautiful tribute that appeared in the Chicago Tribune on Tuesday is a testament to the fact that John will live on in the lives of his family.

I learned of John's passing today and was saddend. I knew John from my High School days and from RJP. I want to express my deepest sympothy to you and your family. John had a dymanic personality and was a kind person. I wish you all peace and love.

I cannot express how very sad we are to have lost John. Although we don't know the master plan, it is so very hard to let go of someone we love so dearly. My Deepest Sympathy to the Cacioppo Family. I've know John for 30 years. John will be dearly missed. Very respectful and loving man and a sincere friend. My prayers for the family.

Johnny was a fine man, a great friend, and a proud father. One hell of a dancer and a creative jeweler. Years have passed but many fond memories remain. I'm lucky to have once called him friend. My prayers are with his family and his partners Ralph and Pete.

John and I became friends through Nancy Stiek , Doug Kurtz Jerry Renda Today is a sad day for all of us who had the pleasure and joy of having such a friend. I send my thoughts and prayers.

John was a lifelong friend and will always be remembered. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. I worked with John, in our younger years, at DaValle Jewelers when it was located at the HIP (Harlem Irving Plaza). John was always smiling. A truly good guy!!
