Brennan, John C. age 91, beloved husband of Pauline, funny father of Mike, Terry (Sue), Pat (Sheila) Brennan and Mary (Shane) Howell, proud grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 12. Memorial Visitation Sunday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Prayer Service Monday, 11 a.m., at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave., at Devon Ave., Chicago. Interment private. Dick and Marilyn Elrod extend our deepest sympathy to all of John's family. He was a very bright, kind man with a wonderful sense of humor. His Regal Court "family" will have a large void in their lives because John was the prime moving force for everything that went on in our building. His jokes and smile will be missed!!!!

I've been blessed to have known John Brennan and enjoyed his company from time to time over many years. He will be missed. He was kind to all and always made everyone happy to see him.

I am sure that Uncle John is up there with my Mom and Dad having a grand old time. I know they have waited a long time to hear his "Sachmo" impersonation again! I'll miss him a lot. I wish I could be there wth you all.
