John Botwinski Obituary

Botwinski, John 73, of Largo, and formerly of St. Petersburg, died August 19, 2005, at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park, FL. He was born in Chicago, IL and moved to St. Petersburg in 1987, from Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. He moved to Largo in 2005 from St. Petersburg. Before retirement he was a security guard with Brinks for 20 years and after Brinks worked as a security guard for Holy Cross Hospital, both in Chicago. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo and was a volunteer at All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg. He was a US Army Veteran, Korea. He is survived by his wife, Gloria of 50 years; son, Steven of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughters, Carol Botwinski of Largo and Maryjo Meyer of Chicago; brother, Robert of Chicago; sister, Stephanie Jung of Englewood, FL; granddaughters, Ashley Meyer and Abigail Meyer, both of Chicago, IL.
