I wanted to express my sincere condolences to John's family for their loss. It was a privilege to work with and learn from John at Metra. All of us who ride the trains owe him a debt of gratitude for his service to the railroad. John, you'll be missed.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with John at both Amtrak and Metra. Always had a smile. Great man and glad I had the opportunity to work with him.
