John Beata Obituary

Beata, John A. Age 87 of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2015. John was the beloved husband of Marion K. Beata (nee Host) for 53 years until her death in 2008. He was a devoted father to John L. (Donna) Beata, Anthony B. (Patti) Beata, and Rita (Charles) Budeselich; doting grandfather of Elizabeth, Michael, Joseph, Angela, Matthew, James, and Anna Marie; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and other relatives, friends, and neighbors. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, beginning with Prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL and processing to Our Lady of Knock Catholic Church, 501 163rd St., Calumet City, IL for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. Friends are invited to visit with John's family on Thursday, October 22 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
