I just found out about John's death today. John and I spoke every month or two since I met him 5 years ago. I found John to be a warm caring person. I am going to miss our conversations, but feel blessed to have had the ones we did have.
My condolences to John's family and coworkers.

Nadine,
Sorry to hear of your loss, I know it certainly shocked a lot of us at the office. I know what it means to lose a father and "man with all the answers" so early in life. I wish your family all the best during this difficult time.

Well, John, the long struggle has ended. Rest for now. I guess I still can't believe just a week ago we were having a great time on the lake. Time passes quickly even if you do live it one day at a time

Hello everyone,
I can not begin to tell everyone how much love and support all of you have been at this very difficult time in our life. As all of you know my father was my best friend, my personal advisor in any subject and my HERO. It is hard to put words together to even begin to describe the special bond we shared. My father is such an amazing person. Although quite he touch so many lives. So many of you have written wonderful emails to me expressing your thoughts and memories. I can not tell you how much that has meant to me. I know how special my father is, but to hear how he touch each and every one of you brings a smile to my face. I ask you to take a few moments and think of something you remember about my dad. And yes his brownies were the best ever. I know I will miss them! :-)
There is a life time website that has been created with pictures and a message board. It is not the Chicago Tribune Obituaries one that was posted in the newspaper. It is http://www.mem.com/display/biography.asp?ID=1398288. Please take a look at the slide show and message board. Please send me any pictures you might like posted onto the site to [email protected]
Thank you again for all your support and kind words you all have shared with me and my family.

Nadine...No bond is greater than that between a parent and a child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. John was the greatest neighbor one could ask for. He was always there to help out in a heartbeat. Not once did I ever hear of him speak badly of anyone, ever! I'm glad I was able to spend time with his family and fiends. They are also all great people! I will miss John more than anyone could ever know. He was a great guy.

Dear members of John's family,
I worked for John at the Experian facility in Lincoln, NE for several years in the late 1990's.
I found John to always be a fair man in all of his dealings with me and he always took the time to talk with me when he was in Lincoln and always had a new biking story to share whenever we had team meetings - with some prompting!!! :)
John knew how to build a team that was located in several different locations. I've missed working for John over the past 6 years. He was a great man to work for.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
